Didn't start off well when I called and asked whats the cost to change both my springs on garage door they told me it range from 150 to 350 when the guy came he was quoting us like 750 upwards to change springs after we said ok we will get back to you then since that price wont work we were then called back to say oh we can do it for 450 since the guy was already out to fix the door which we hesitantly accepted but wanted to get the door fix asap .thats not good for your business because now I would not recommend you guys to a friend

Absolutely terrible! Called yesterday to explain what I needed and was quoted between $550-800 depending on my door. I was fine with that and scheduled the appointment for between 4-8 pm. At 3:30 the driver called to say he was on his way and I reviewed what the issue was and confirmed the price. He told me if I need a torsion spring conversion it would be at least $1,800. Wow! Not what I was quoted on the phone and nobody else was near that price either. I immediately cancelled the appointment and called another company and had it replaced for $799. Talk about trying to take advantage of people!!

I honestly don't normally provide negative feedback but was extremely disappointed in the estimate I received. Being a recent widow I researched what my repair and maintenance cost could possibly be. The tech was very nice and friendly. He carefully explained what would be best to maintain my doors for a longer life. He worked up the estimate and I was completely shocked. He said that springs for 4 garage doors and replace the wheels would be $6,600.00. Approximately 1000% more that the average cost according to research. He nicely explained that the average cost is based from all over the country. OMG! Are we not part of the country? I called a family member and he was amazed as well since he just had two brand new garage doors installed for less than $3,000.00. This was blatant price gouging based on my home and being a female. Sad world we are living in. So disappointed in this company!!!

I am a senior women. Someone from Precision showed up to give a quote. He wanted to charge me $3000 and was trying to pressure me into signing a contract. Just because I am a senior and a women doesn't mean I'm stupid. I told him that I would be getting more quotes. Turns out that I got a quote for a better garage door opener (Liftmaster) for $532. SHAME ON YOU PRECISION FOR TRYING TO RIP ME OFF..

While changing my rollers I screwed up and the cables came loose. They charged 350 dollars for an hours worth of labor to put my own cables back on. The invoice said rehang door. Will never call them again! The tech told me if I wanted the door quiet I would need to change to a belt drive. B.S I lubed it myself and now it's quiet!

Scheduled a visit For a single garage door repair , replace tracks and some hinges . Your employee gave me an estimate of $3,3xx. dollars to repair the problem . A new door install from your company was $1,9xx. dollars . If you have white hair , beware of this company . I am incredulous from the repair estimate . It was enough money to replace two or three doors . I would call this company poor for their estimate . I do not write bad reviews , but this just needs to be seen by prospective customers .

I was not pleased with the service that I received. When I made the appointment I was told that I would receive an estimate before any work was done. This was not the case. The repair was done (30 seconds to realign the sensors that I couldn't get to line up by myself) and then I was told I owed over $200 for the service fee without being given any sort of estimate first like I was promised. Very displeased. Would not recommend or use again.

I trusted the “professional” and trusted the quotes on the parts he was giving me. To me it seemed high, but he assured me that those were the prices. He quoted me almost $200 for each lift cable drum, when the most expensive one at Home Depot is $25. I expect an up charge, but that is outrageous. And the list can go on. I ended up paying over $1600 for less than 2 hours of labor and less than $500 of parts. I should’ve called around like my husband said. I believe I got the “pink tax”. On top of it all, they don’t even offer a veterans discount… not that it couldn’t offset their outrageous charges.

I had said I wasn't going to do a review, but since I got emailed one I felt maybe I should. I wouldn't recommend Precision Door. I had two company's (including yours) that tell me I have the wrong springs installed. The irony is, your company installed them and won't stand behind them. Yes, it was before I bought the home with the springs, but I am shocked when the company that installed them, says they are wrong, yet, won't replace them, but they will sell me new ones. Then, the head unit is bad (possibly because of wrong springs?) Of course, they will sell me a new head unit. Joel, the tech, calls "the boss" and gets me "special pricing". It reminded me of buying a vehicle. (let me talk to my manager). All in all, very disappointed in Precision Door. I would neither recommend nor use them.

Precision door came out Saturday morning because our spring broke on our garage door and the guy told us that both sides need to be replaced pulley cables springs and labor. It would be $1700. We said no way went back out said he would talk to his boss and came back and said it would be $900. Needless to say we had Lester‘s garage today that did all of it for $375.. What a scam! Luckily, we knew it was not supposed to cost that much! I wouldn’t even have checked one star, but it wouldn’t let me send the review unless I checked the star

Louis Hudson. can't help but feel we were ripped off. Due to the Saturday service call and bad weather approaching. DO not use these folks without another estimate. $3600 bucks for a Garage door motor and new springs. ? No new door. Unfortunately I have found out we probably paid double of what we should have. My fault for not getting another estimate. Unfortunately with the hurricane coming we felt like we had no choice.

Signed a contract on 11/20/2023 for a new garage door and opener, several weeks and several unreturned calls from Amy and still no install date, just excuses, first waiting on permit, then looking for a new vendor. Time to send a certified letter requesting cancellation and refund. Worse company I’ve ever dealt with. It has now bern over 30 days of lies.

I called for an estimate for a garage door replacement. When the technician came my garage opener was working good no problems. They took it apart left wires hanging and loose. They didn’t not put it back to together properly and it was not working when they leave. I called and they told me they couldn’t send anyone out until the next day to fix fix. Very unprofessional service. If I can give a zero on the review I would. Do not use precision garage door stay away from them.

Our door was serviced on 8/5/21. After 3 emails to Mr Walden and Mr Cain and 1 message left for them with Customer Service to discuss a few issues, I have had no response. That is not what I would call acceptable customer service.

Mason came last Sunday afternoon never tried to make any adjustments only said we needed new motors on our screen and door. I told him the screen was new less than a month old. He gave me an estimate of 2619. I told him to go ahead because I thought he knew what he was doing. On Monday my wife wanted to know from the workman why they had new motors for the screen and the door. She then called the screen installer and your firm. The end result talking to your firm was a price of 1100 for work completed. After nearly 4 hours the workmen had my door and screen working again. I feel I was taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge about the door and was lied to concerning the screen. I am not happy with your company and will pass that along to neighbors and friends.
