We had the good fortune of finding the local Precision Door Service when we lived in Merritt Island FL, so when we needed a complete rebuild of our garage door here in Alachua we called Precision Door serving north central Florida and were rewarded with the same outstanding service. Thomas came the same day we called. He did a thorough inspection and developed a list of needed replacement parts. As a guy with a technical background I appreciated his detailed explanation of the need for each replacement part. He had everything needed on the truck, the door was fixed quickly to like new condition and at a fair price. Thomas is a great asset and representative for the Precision Door company. I chose Precision Door Service because of their 5 star rating. This I found while searching for a garage door service company on the internet . I was shocked to here that a tech would be at my house in about 4 hours to assess my problem, explain what needed to be done, and give me an estimate. In fact, the tech, Tom, was at my house in 15 minutes! I knew that the track on my opener was bent and needed replaced. In addition to that, the springs were worn out, the motor, from a foreign country — ( very difficult to adjust—-a fact that I was all to familiar with) was too small for the weight of my door. The lift wires were frayed etc., etc., etc.. Say no more, put a whole new system in. I asked when the job could get done. Tom’s answer: “right now! It should only take me a little over an hour”…. So as not to be in Tom’s way, I took my bike for a ride (and visited with a friend for 20 minutes). Seven miles later, I returned to find my new door opener installed and Tom was fine tuning the operation of it. One word describes the work that Precision Door Service does——- “PROFESSIONAL”. I certainly give “Precision Door Service”a five star rating !!

The process was efficient, timely and professional. We had overhead springs, side rollers and belt drive garage opener motor replaced. Thomas Norman did a great job for us. He was on time and called when 15 minutes out. Explained all my options and had all the materials to change out 2 older garage door openers with quiet, belt-driven Lift Masters. He changed out springs and rollers and leveled out the 2 tracks. He worked straight through until the job was finished. He explained all the functions and programed by remotes to my car. I was very impressed with the product and his knowledge, technical ability and work ethic.

Precision Door answers the phone at 6:30 AM! My door spring broke the evening before and I called at 6:30 the next morning to see if it could possibly be repaired that day. Jose (who took this call) was totally professional and on his game, even at this early hour. They were able to schedule service for me that same day, with a window of 8-noon. I got a call from the tech Thomas at 8:10 and he was en route already. He arrived at about 8:30 and after assessing my issue and giving me options for repairing the door, he repaired the broken spring and installed some upgrade parts that I chose for my 10 year old door and it's components. Amazing service, from start to finish. Thomas was thorough and professional. I will certainly use Precision Door when I have needs in the future.
