I discovered I was the victim of a garage door repair fraud. I didn't know there was such a thing until after the damage was done. The bill was 3 times what it should have been. Not knowing if the repair was safe, for peace of mind I had Precision check the repair work the fraudulent company technician did. Sure enough, the wrong size springs had been installed, and 30 year old bearings that should have been replaced hadn't been. My Precision technician, Evan, was outstanding. Thank you Evan! Wish I had called Precision from the get go!

He wanted initially to charge me > $4,000 to change the whole system & said that it cannot be fixed. He ended up changing the belt & the outer rail for $300. He wanted to give me an estimate on a piece of paper with numbers on it, instead of a receipt. Anyhow I would NEVER recommend or use this guy or your service again. I made the mistake of calling the first entry on Google - a big mistake. Anyhow I doubt very much that you do not know all this. I do not know whether you pay them by the hour, but If you pay them more commission if they charge more then what do you expect ?

The technicians showed up on time and completed the installation of my garage door opener as promised. They cleaned up the area and gave us instructions as to how to adjust the door sensor in case they are knocked out of alignment.
