Tried to open garage door on a Saturday morning and it would only go up 6 inches and was stuck. When I pulled the release cord the spring broke and the door came crashing down. When I tried to manually lift the door it was too heavy. I thought I'm stuck now until Monday. I called the company that originally installed the door but received a message that their business was open Mon. - Fri. To my surprise when I called someone actually answered the phone at Precision Door. The person said a technician could be at my house within the hour. I received an email confirmation with the name and picture of the person coming to do the job. When he arrived Thomas did an evaluation of the problem, said he had the parts on his truck& told me what discounts I was entitled to, said the parts & labor had a 5 year warranty & what the final price would be. In less than two hours the work was finished, & I now have a door that works like new.

I had an issue with my garage door, called Precision and they were able to send a technician the same day. Beau arrived on time and proceeded to inspect my garage door and was able to determine the issue and offer solutions. At every step of the way he was professional - Explaining everything and answering my questions. He was able to replace the spring coils and will be back in a couple weeks to install and new overhead system. I called the office and scheduled my next appointment, asking that they assign the job to Beau because he was thorough and a wonderful representative of Precision Garage Door!

Mr. Norman gave us our 30 minute warning and arrived as stated. Got right to work. Initial proposal was for a total overhaul of the door's hardware. The expensive cost would probably be worth the investment if we had extra dollars about and were planning on staying in the property for many years to come. Neither of these applied. Therefore, Mr. Day and myself settled on doing what was necessary to keep the door working in a satisfactory way at a more acceptable cost to us. Mr. Norman worked quickly and quietly and the work was completed within an hour. Our garage door now operates as it should. Mr. Norman did an excellent job of explaining what he was doing and why. Very professional. Very polite. Precision Doors is fortunate to have such a good employee.

Our garage door broke over the weekend and they sent someone out Monday morning to diagnose the issue and to make the repairs. The technician (Joel) was knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. I appreciated the time he took to explain the problem and potential solutions, including the cost of those solutions. Our new system came with a phone app and he also took the time to help set everything up and to troubleshoot a few tech issues. No one wants unexpected repairs, but when they do occur it’s nice to have some like Joel to address them. Overall this was a great repair experience!
