I called Precision Door on Friday afternoon late and was given an appointment for Saturday morning (8-12). The technician Mr. Thomas Norman arrived promptly at 8am. He was a gentle giant. He was very kind, very patient, very knowledgeable and treated me with the most respect, even with me being of color. He worked with me and gave me the best deal for my budget at this time. Beau came out to look at our garage door that wouldn't close. He called me when he was about 20 minutes away, which I really appreciated because when you have a 4 hour window, you just never know! I originally went with the company for the simple fact of brand recognition. The service I received from Joel Mullen was outstanding! This was my first experience having anything to do with my garage door. Joel was very knowledgeable and made me feel welcomed to work with him. Had our garage door fail the morning of August 4, 2022. Tried to reach out to the original installation company and was unsuccessful. The professional team from Precision Garage Door Service arrived the afternoon that I called with an urgent request for help. I had tried to open my garage door to drive my dog to a park when it began shaking violently, making loud noises, and not opening. I thought that it was going to fall on my car. The team, Scott and Joel, arrived and inspected the situation, taking many photos, and gave me several estimates ranging from the lowest to the highest quality parts and longest warranty. They gave me time to consider what I wanted to spend and the length of time of the warranty that I wanted. As I needed to replace the entire system, brackets, springs, motor, and the rotten wood that it was attached to on the garage walls, this was not a small job. I went with the highest quality and they ordered the materials on the spot. A different team was on the way within minutes, Tom and Tyler, to do the removal and installation. They worked until nearly 6:30pm so that the garage door would be safe and I could securely park my car again. I am very happy with the quality of the system. It is quiet and far better than the one that I had installed by a home improvement store. Their professional expertise is well worth the money. I highly recommend Precision Garage Doors and want to thank both of these teams for their friendly and professional demeanor while we went through the process of diagnosing and repairing my garage door system.
